Education Committee   Activities   DRR   YES   Workshops	Workshops   The AGS Education Committee has arranged several events at recent AGS Annual and Technical meetings which have contributed substantially to the success of these meetings. These include education workshops and panels at the 2002-2004 AGS Technical and Annual Meetings, as well as the annual AGS Poster Competitions and Awards at the AGS Annual Meetings. The 2002 AGS Technical Meeting included an in-depth discussion on how sustainability education needs that the AGS could serve. The 2004 Annual Meeting included a wide-ranging discussion on how the educational community should respond to the upcoming UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
